“Hi! Betti here. Today, I’m not writing to tell you about a new destination or a seasonal offer. I’m writing because Boomerang Viajes turned 25 in January and, looking back, I realize that our greatest milestone isn’t the miles we’ve traveled, but the community we’ve built.

When we founded this agency back in 2001, shortly before one of our country’s deepest crises, we had a dream: to prove that tourism could be a tool for social and environmental transformation. Today, a quarter of a century later, that vision is a reality, and it’s all thanks to you.”

 

You are the true agents of change

We often talk about ‘conscious travelers,’ but what does that really mean? For us, it means understanding that every time you choose a destination, you are making an ethical and human decision.

Thank you for trusting our vision and for having the courage to travel differently. Because you chose Boomerang Viajes:

• We strengthened local economies: More than 70 rural ventures and communities in regions like the NOA (Northwest), the Litoral, and Patagonia sustain themselves through tourism that respects their culture and their land

             

• We provide access to quality education in vulnerable sectors: The Chiara Lubich School in José C. Paz now supports more than 300 students, and this is also the result of the trust you place in us

 

• We take care of our common home: Every time you choose a conservation project or offset your carbon footprint, you are helping ensure that the ecosystems we love remain for future generations.

When you travel with us, you stop being simple visitors and become agents of change. Rest and enjoyment take on a new meaning when we know that our presence leaves a positive impact on the places that welcome us

A journey of resilience and honesty

It wasn’t always easy. We’ve weathered economic crises, the rise of the internet, and a pandemic that forced us to put everything on hold. In the most difficult moments, what kept us standing was our shared humanity.

We remember with special affection the patience and empathy so many of you showed during the pandemic years. That relationship of trust—where we could speak honestly about contracts and rescheduling—confirmed that Boomerang Viajes is more than just an agency; it’s a network of people who share the same values

     

The future: A legacy that transcends us

Turning 25 brought us a vital question:

 

How do we keep this purpose growing? That is why, in 2025, we are embarking on a new stage. With Lucas joining as a partner and the strengthening of our role as a B Corp, we are ‘refounding’ Boomerang Viajes to ensure this legacy is sustainable and transcends us

 

 

 

To all of you, thank you. Thank you for these 25 years of shared stories, for choosing the path of consciousness, and for showing us that a different kind of tourism is not only possible, but is already happening.
